Customer:
What current was used to capture the photo at https://soldered.com/productdata/2022/05/238043-Edit.jpg? What is the maximum continuous current? I’m interested in using this as a signal lamp in daylight.

Hvala za sliku:

Pri kojoj struji je ona snimljena?
Kolika je najveća kontinuirana struja?
Zanima me primjena kao signalna lampica pri dnevnom svjetlu.
Hvala, pozdrav!

Soldered Support:
The current used to capture the LED in the photo is uncertain, but the maximum current through the LED is around 15mA. 20 mA is the absolute maximum limit that may damage it.

Soldered Support:
No, but these LEDs are generic and share the same properties. You can find more details about 10mm red LEDs on this page: 10mm LED Technical Specifications and Power Characteristics
Reading through this, it appears that 20mA is actually safe to use and will provide greater brightness, so that current can be used.
