8-channel SSR relay module: connecting power, control pins and load

Customer:

I recently purchased an 8-channel SSR relay module from your website. I have a 5V power supply available (the specifications state that 5V is sufficient). My question is: do I connect power to the DC+ and DC- pins, connect the channel pins (CH1-8) to GPIO pins on my board, and then connect the load devices (mini pumps in my case) to the SW1-8 terminals to allow current to flow through them? I’m confused about the purpose of the DC+, DC- and CH1-8 input pins below the connectors, so please clarify this for me.

Soldered Support:

Connect your power supply to the DC+ and DC- pins. The CH pins are the control inputs where you apply a digital signal for each channel you want to turn on or off. You can connect them to your board’s GPIO pins using jumper wires or through the blue connectors—either method works.
