Which Croduino model is this? Can you provide a screenshot of all the settings in Arduino?

Original message (Serbian)

o kojem Croduinu se radi? Može screenshot svih postavki iz Arduina?

Customer:

I provided the previous email you requested.

Original message (Serbian)

Soldered Support:

Sorry about that. Here’s the answer:

  • Tools → Board should be Arduino Nano
  • Is Tools → Port set to the COM port with the highest number? (you have COM1, so there might be a COM port with a higher number)

You can also send us a screenshot from Device Manager showing the COM port, like in this guide: https://e-radionica.com/hr/blog/2015/10/09/croduino2-i-cp2102-driveri/#Windows

Original message (Serbian)

Customer:

I changed it to Arduino Nano. COM 10 didn’t work and on COM 1 I got the same error.

I don’t know how to check those drivers in Windows 10, so if you could write out the steps for me.

Original message (Serbian)

Veliki pozdrav,

Soldered Support:

It sounds like COM10 should be the Croduino port.

Follow these instructions until you reach Device Manager and we can see what the problem is: https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000833.htm

Can you also try with a different USB cable while you’re at it?

Original message (Serbian)

Možete li usput isto probati s drugim USB kabelom?

Customer:

COM 10 isn’t showing up. The Croduino wasn’t powered on when I took the screenshot.

Original message (Serbian)

Izgleda nema com 10, Croduino nije bio ukljucen kada sam uradio screen shoot

Soldered Support:

Have you used a Croduino on this computer before? So the drivers are already installed? Is this a new Croduino you haven’t used yet?

Original message (Serbian)

Customer:

I’ve been using this Croduino on this computer for several months and everything was working fine. It suddenly stopped uploading programs from Arduino IDE.

Original message (Serbian)

Soldered Support:

I see that there’s no COM port. That’s the problem - either a driver issue (drivers were deleted or Windows Update changed something) or the board is physically damaged.

Best course of action in this situation is to try on another computer. Install the drivers and see if the serial port is detected.

Original message (Serbian)

Customer:

I don’t have another computer. I’ll try reinstalling the FTDI drivers. Is that OK?

Original message (Serbian)

Davide,
nemem drugi racunar. Probacu ponovo da instaliram ftdi drivere. Jel to OK?

Soldered Support:

You need CP2102 drivers, not FTDI: Soldered: Open-Source Electronics, Boards, Sensors & Modules – Soldered Electronics
