Croduino Basic2 avrdude stk500_getsync() error on upload

Customer:

I bought a Croduino Basic2 beginner set and from the start I cannot upload programs to the board. It worked maybe twice, but as soon as I change any timing delay, I cannot upload the program anymore. In settings I selected Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila, it’s connected to COM3, programmer: ArduinoISP. I downloaded and installed the FTDI drivers. Every time I try to upload I get this error: avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00

Sometimes the board is not recognized when I connect it to the computer (I think the board might have arrived damaged - I got the set this morning). How can I fix this?

PS: When I connect to the computer, a blue LED lights up and an orange LED flashes briefly then turns off and doesn’t light again until I press the RESET button. Sometimes a red LED blinks along with the blue one.

U postavkama sam odabrao Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila, spojen

mi je na port COM3, programator: ArduinoISP. Skinuo sam i FTDI drivere i

instalirao ih.

poruku: avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00 .

i pločica došla oštećena, danas ujutro sam dobio taj set). Kako otkloniti

tu smetnju?

PS

Ponekad uz plavu zna blinkati i crvena LED.

Soldered Support:

Croduino Basic2 does not use FTDI drivers, unlike Croduino Basic. You need CP2102 drivers: Soldered: Open-Source Electronics, Boards, Sensors & Modules – Soldered Electronics

The correct board selection in Arduino IDE is “Arduino Nano”.

A brief orange LED flash indicates that the Arduino bootloader is present on the microcontroller, which is correct. The red/white LEDs are TX/RX indicators and blink when there is activity on the UART communication.

Please try with the new drivers and let us know.
