Customer:
I have a question: when I want to connect your Dasduino CONNECTPLUS (ESP32) board, which board should I select in Arduino IDE to upload code to it?
Original message (Croatian)

Hvala unaprijed, lijep pozdrav

Soldered Support:
You need to install the Soldered Board Definitions. Here’s the link - you’ll find a tutorial in the README at the bottom of the page: GitHub - SolderedElectronics/Dasduino-Board-Definitions-for-Arduino-IDE · GitHub
In the boards manager, you don’t need to type “inkplate”, just type “dasduino” and you’ll easily find Dasduino CONNECTPLUS.

Customer:
I’ve successfully installed your board definitions and the board now accepts code uploads. I have one more request: could you help me write some code for reading and writing to NFC tags/cards? I’m using your Dasduino ESP32, your easyC adapter, and a PN532 RFID module. I’ve attached a photo showing how it’s all connected. I’ve tried various example codes I found online, but none have worked so far.

Super, uspješno sam instalirao vaše ploče i sad napokon ploča prihvaća uploadanje koda.
Koristimi vaš Dasduino Esp32, vaš easyC adapter i PN532 RFID modul.
Hvala unaprijed, lijep pozdrav

Of course, we’re here to help. Check out this library and example: Adafruit-PN532/examples/ntag2xx_read/ntag2xx_read.ino at master · adafruit/Adafruit-PN532 · GitHub
Since easyC is essentially I2C, look at this line of code: Adafruit-PN532/examples/ntag2xx_read/ntag2xx_read.ino at f4e1a91afd0163d8601b243ddcbb2a580da6552a · adafruit/Adafruit-PN532 · GitHub
Install the library, open that example, and initialize the reader that way. Delete or comment out this line: Adafruit-PN532/examples/ntag2xx_read/ntag2xx_read.ino at f4e1a91afd0163d8601b243ddcbb2a580da6552a · adafruit/Adafruit-PN532 · GitHub
Leave the rest - setup and loop - as they are. I haven’t personally used that breakout, but this should work fine.
Original message (Croatian)
naravno, tu smo da pomognemo. Pogledaj ovaj library i example: Adafruit-PN532/examples/ntag2xx_read/ntag2xx_read.ino at master · adafruit/Adafruit-PN532 · GitHub
Pošto je easyC isto što i I2C u suštini, pogledaj ovu liniju koda: Adafruit-PN532/examples/ntag2xx_read/ntag2xx_read.ino at f4e1a91afd0163d8601b243ddcbb2a580da6552a · adafruit/Adafruit-PN532 · GitHub
Instaliraj library i otvori taj example i onda tako moraš inicijalizirati čitač. Ovu liniju koda onda obriši ili zakomentiraj: Adafruit-PN532/examples/ntag2xx_read/ntag2xx_read.ino at f4e1a91afd0163d8601b243ddcbb2a580da6552a · adafruit/Adafruit-PN532 · GitHub
Ostalo, setup i loop ostavi kako jesu.

I did as you said, but the Serial monitor is still empty. I’m attaching the output text and a photo of the code so you can verify I uncommented and commented the right lines. Output:

Output:

Quick question: is your Serial monitor set to 115200 baud?
Original message (Croatian)
Ako nije to to, nastavljamo s troubleshootanjem sutra
Customer:
Yes, it’s set to 115200 baud. Still nothing. The PN532 has switches to select whether to use UART (00), I2C (10), or SPI (01), so I’ve tried both I2C and SPI combinations in case I mixed them up, but that didn’t help either.
Original message (Croatian)
Soldered Support:
I just quickly reviewed the example - can you delete this line: Adafruit-PN532/examples/ntag2xx_read/ntag2xx_read.ino at f4e1a91afd0163d8601b243ddcbb2a580da6552a · adafruit/Adafruit-PN532 · GitHub
That might be where it’s getting stuck. The Serial monitor shouldn’t be empty at all because there’s a “Hello” message in there that would be an indicator the Serial monitor is working, so I suspect that’s it.
Original message (Croatian)
brzinski sam sada pregledao example, možeš li obrisati ovu liniju Adafruit-PN532/examples/ntag2xx_read/ntag2xx_read.ino at f4e1a91afd0163d8601b243ddcbb2a580da6552a · adafruit/Adafruit-PN532 · GitHub
