Dasduino ConnectPlus not recognized by PC after code upload

Customer:

I tinkered with the ESP32 board and now my PC doesn’t recognize it when connected via USB. The built-in LED glows green and the previously uploaded program runs normally. When I connect a fresh Dasduino board, the PC recognizes it in Device Manager and Arduino IDE. What could be wrong?

Soldered Support:

Did you assign code to the Software Serial pins 1 and 3? These pins are key to communicating with the Dasduino CONNECTPLUS over USB Serial.

Try disconnecting everything from the board and connect GND to IO0, then connect to USB. This may help recover the connection.

If that doesn’t work, there is a way to reflash the board using a separate microcontroller.
