Customer:
I’m planning to use a Dasduino CONNECTPLUS board with sensors and other devices that need power. I see 3.7V Li-ion batteries available, but the board specs say it operates at 3.3V. Can I safely power the board and connected devices (via EasyC or breadboard cables) with a 3.7V battery? Will the battery charge when the board is connected to power via USB-C?

3.7V batteries are fully compatible with Dasduino boards. They have a charging circuit onboard that converts the higher battery voltage to 3.3V. You just need to use the on-board battery connector. Li-ion batteries are fully charged at around 4.2V and drop to 3.0V as they discharge. The battery will charge when connected to USB-C, so you only need one of the batteries from the store and to connect it to the Dasduino—everything else is handled automatically.
