Dasduino CONNECTPLUS TFT LCD display shows white screen on startup

Customer:

I have a Dasduino CONNECTPLUS (ESP32) and TFT LCD breakout 2.4" touchscreen, but I’m having trouble with the wiring. When I connect everything according to your TouchScreenRaw code, the display just shows white. The same happens with other programs.

Board Manager: Dasduino CONNECTPLUS (ESP32)
I have your library installed for the LCD.

Wiring table:

  • TFT LCD breakout 2.4" to ConnectPlus
  • VCC → VCC
  • GND → GND
  • DC → TFT_DC 5
  • BL → VCC (do I need a resistor?)
  • CLK → D13/IO14/IO14
  • D0 → D11/IO12/IO12 (not necessary to connect)
  • DI → D12/IO13/IO13
  • CSL → TFT_CSL 4
  • CST → D10/IO15/IO15
  • RST → TFT_RST -1 (connected to RESET)

Nedavno sam naručio Vaš Dasduino CONNECTPLUS (ESP32) i TFT LCD breakout 2.4" osjetljiv na dodir, no imam problema kod spajanja. Kada sve spojim prema Vašem kodu TouchScreenRaw ekran samo svijetli bijelo. Isto se događa i za druge programe.
Board Manager: Dasduino CONNECTPLUS (ESP32) Instalirana je Vaša biblioteka za navedeni lcd.

Soldered Support:

No resistor is needed between BL and VCC.

Try connecting it this way instead:

ESP32 (VSPI Default Pins) to ILI9341 TFT Display:

  • 3.3V → VCC
  • GND → GND
  • GPIO23 (MOSI) → DI / SDA (Data In)
  • GPIO19 (MISO) → D0 / MISO (optional; only if needed)
  • GPIO18 (SCLK) → CLK (Serial Clock)
  • GPIO5 (CS) → CS (Chip Select)
  • GPIO21 (DC) → DC (Data/Command)
  • GPIO22 (RST) → RST (Reset) or use a dedicated reset circuit
  • 3.3V → BL (Backlight) (Optional)

This method uses a different SPI interface on the ESP32 with different pins. Try this and let me know if there’s any improvement.

Možeš li probati spojiti ovako:

U biti, ovaj način spajanja koristi drugi interface za SPI na ESP32, druge pinove. Molim te probaj pa javi ima li poboljšanja.
