I received a Dasduino Core ATMega 328 today, but I can’t connect it to Arduino IDE. I added the board definitions JSON link to the correct location at https://github.com/SolderedElectronics/Dasduino-Board-Definitions-for-Arduino-IDE/raw/master/package_Dasduino_Boards_index.json. It loads 4 possible setups but I can’t get upload to work on any of them - the board isn’t recognized. I must be making a simple mistake somewhere. I also tried with an Arduino UNO but it won’t allow upload there either.

Help

It’s possible this isn’t your fault since the driver installation isn’t mentioned anywhere in our documentation (theoretically nothing should need to be installed, but you know how Windows can be - nothing should be left to theory). You can download the drivers for the CH340C chip that’s on the Dasduino from this link: https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/learn_tutorials/8/4/4/CH341SER.EXE
This component converts USB signals to UART so the computer and board can communicate. Try installing this first and let us know the results - we can troubleshoot further if needed.

Either I’m obviously making a mistake somewhere or I selected the wrong DDINO board type. I’m getting this error:

Got it working! I selected NULA CORE and was able to upload a basic sketch with it. Hopefully that’s the solution.

Josipe….opaaaa…izgleda da sam uspio

Odabrao sam NULA CORE i s njim uspio upload basic datoteke.
