Customer:
I have a question about powering the Dasduino CORE. The product description says it works on 5V or battery voltage, but the required voltage is listed as 5V. If I connect a 3.7V Li-Ion battery to it, will it work?

Customer:
Can I power the Dasduino with 2 AAA batteries? Their total voltage is 3V - is that enough?
Soldered Support:
Yes, it will work with a 3.7V Li-Ion battery as you described. The Dasduino CORE has an on-board battery voltage regulator which handles this.
3 AAA batteries (4.5V total) will also work - the regulator will handle that voltage and continue to work correctly as the batteries discharge and their voltage drops. However, Li-Ion batteries have much higher capacity and are rechargeable, so they’re the better choice if available.
