Dasduino Core upload fails with larger sketch using PWM motor control

Customer:

I ordered a Dasduino Core about a month and a half ago and it worked fine initially. When I tried to upload a larger sketch, the code wouldn’t transfer. The sketch uses motor control, Bluetooth communication, and a servo motor - everything is correctly connected according to a verified schematic. I didn’t connect the Bluetooth module until the code uploaded successfully, but it still won’t transfer to the board. Is it possible to get a replacement board, as this shouldn’t be happening?

To help troubleshoot: when you say the sketch won’t transfer - does it compile OK with an error only during upload, or is there an error during compilation? Are you using pins RXD and TXD in your schematic? These can prevent communication with the computer and code transfer. Does a basic blink sketch upload to the board when nothing else is connected?

Koristiš li pinove RXD i TXD u svojoj shemi? Oni mogu spriječiti komunikaciju sa računalom i prenošenje koda.

Radi li upload običnog blink sketcha na pločicu dok na nju ništa nije spojeno?

The sketch won’t upload at all. Verification passes OK, but when I click upload it shows an error. The port is selected correctly and the board is set correctly for programming, but nothing changes. Here are the error details.

The error is definitely occurring during upload. Since you were able to upload code before, I know you have the correct board definition and know how to select the right port, so those aren’t the issues. I think the problem is that you’re using pin 3. Pins 6 and 9 should be OK, but pin 3 has Interrupt1 and can cause problems with the connection to the computer. Try connecting the servo to a different pin instead. Also, does a basic test sketch upload when you don’t have other components connected, as I mentioned in my previous message? Let me know the results and we can see what to do next.
