Customer:
I need the hardware design files for the high-precision electrochemical NO gas sensor breakout and the high-precision electrochemical NO2 gas sensor breakout.
Originally submitted via email support on 18 February 2025. Migrated to the forum for community visibility.
Soldered Support:
The KiCad files and outputs are available. Both breakout boards use the same design; only the sensor placed differs. v1.2.0 is the latest version, with v1.1.0 and outputs (schematic, gerber files) also included.
Important: Remove the small paperclip-type jumper that connects two pins on the electrochemical sensor itself before use. If this jumper is left in place, the sensor will not work.
Attachment omitted in migration: Electrochemical gas sensor breakout.zip

I’m using series 7 NO/NO2 sensors. Will the same AFE-based system work? Can you also share the reference code files for the NO/NO2 sensor breakouts? I couldn’t find the exact code files on the GitHub repository.
Soldered Support:
It should work with those sensors. The system is based on the LMP91000 potentiostat/interface for AFE-type sensors.
References:
Settings for NO2 are available in the configuration data. Unfortunately, correct settings for NO have not yet been determined. You will need to configure the onboard LMP91000 for NO yourself using the LMP91000 datasheet or software.
This example can help with calibrating a new sensor type:
For production environments, calibrate the sensors yourself in a controlled environment for best results. You’re welcome to fork the repository and submit a PR with NO configuration that works for you.
