GNSS L86-M33 Breakout jumper configuration and schematic access

Customer:

I just received the GNSS L86-M33 Breakout board. I noticed there are quite a few soldering points marked as JP (jumper). It is hard to decide what to do with them. Should I leave them open or close them? It looks like there is a possibility to use 3.3V or 5V - what should I do with the jumpers? Also the silkscreen is very hard to read. Can you provide a schematic of the board or clearer documentation?

You can open the schematics in KiCad (free software) or view the .pdf version.

JP3 and JP4 connect/disconnect the onboard LEDs.

JP1 controls whether the voltage regulator is enabled by connecting 5V to the EN pin. This allows you to decide if the regulator should be active. JP2 controls whether the 3.3V rail is connected directly to the 5V rail, which bypasses the regulator and could be used when interfacing directly with 3.3V logic levels.

For a large majority of users, leaving these jumpers as you found them will work best.
