Hall Effect Sensor LM393 for smart traffic light detection

I’m working on a school project for a smart traffic light system. The idea is that when a car approaches the traffic light, a sensor detects it and triggers a green light. Would the Fotek PL-05N sensor be suitable for Arduino?

Dobar dan.Imam završni rad za srednju školu.Moram napraviti pametni semafor što znači da kada auto đođe pred semafor ta senzor detektira auto i uplai zeleno svijetlo,Htio bih vas pitati da li bi Fotek PL-05N senzor bio dobar za arduino?

The Fotek PL-05N is an industrial sensor and would not be recommended for a project like yours. It’s better to use hall effect sensors that detect magnetic fields with a magnet: the Hall Effect Sensor with LM393 would be a suitable choice for this application.
