Thre is a possibility to adapt the charging current of this module. Can you please tell me which resistor I have to change on the PCB to do this?

To adjust the charging current to the desired value, you need to replace resistor R4, located to the right of JP2. It is highlighted in red in the image below. You can also check our HW files on GitHub if you need additional guidance. The resistor package is 0603.
We are also including a table of resistor values so you can select the desired charging current.

thanks a lot for explanation. I assume R4 beside jumper 2 is also the resistor I have to change in the protected Li Ion Charger board (333014). I’m a bit worried because I was under the impression that the protected board delivers a max of 1A charging current. My resistor R4 on the protected board is 2,49 kOhm thus coding for approx 500 mA max charge current. For 1A charging current it should be 1.1 kOhm. Is everything Ok with my board? Am I looking to the correct resistor?

Hi Stephan,
A 2.49kΩ resistor is set in place so that the charging current is 500mA. If you want a different charging current, you need to place an appropriate resistor at the R4 position.
We tested the product ourselves, and during charging it delivers a current of 500mA in the initial operating mode.
