Can I use the battery connector for 5V power input?

Soldered Support:
For a 5V power supply on the Inkplate 10, use a VIN pad instead. If you want to add a switch, solder wire to the fuse pad which is behind the USB connector.
The maximum voltage on the battery connector is 4.2 V. Connecting a higher voltage to that connector will destroy the battery charger IC.
