Inkplate 10 boots with truncated ROM messages, example code won't load

Customer:

I purchased an Inkplate 10 and uploaded a program, but the serial port monitor only shows truncated boot messages:

The example programs won’t load. What could be causing this?

Please answer these questions:

  1. Is anything displayed on the panel? If not, check if the flat cable from the panel is plugged into the connector on the back of the board. Also check if the panel is not damaged.
  2. Was the code uploaded successfully? Did you download the latest version of the library from our GitHub and did you install our Inkplate Arduino Code?
  3. What kind of power supply are you using for Inkplate: battery or USB?
  4. Does the message keep popping up on Serial Monitor?
