Customer:
I’m considering buying an Inkplate 10, but I’m worried about the fact that you use recycled screens from old Kindles. Your website mentions that some screens may contain scratches. What’s your policy on this? If I think some scratches are unacceptable and I’m not happy with my received display, can I return it?

Soldered Support:
We check for display quality during testing of each Inkplate and maintain a standard for the displays which get shipped out. The display should be fully functional and have no visible dots, dead pixels, etc. The scratches comment is more concerning about really small microscopic scratches which may be visible under certain sunlight. We have replaced displays which were unsatisfactory before.
If it would help you decide, I could personally take a few minutes to inspect your Inkplate before it ships out and send some close up photos of it.
