Inkplate 10 only top of screen is updating

Customer:

I created a weather display with my Inkplate 10 (GitHub - mattncsu/Tempest_Inkplate10_Display: WeatherFlow Tempest display for Inkscape 10. · GitHub) and it has been running non-stop for about 3 years. I haven’t made any changes to the code but suddenly, only the top quarter of the screen is updating and the rest is solid white. Has my screen failed? I power cycled several times thinking it was a temporary glitch but it keeps coming back the same.

Soldered Support:

Since it has been sitting for so long, try taking it out of the enclosure and unplug the ribbon cable of the panel and plugging it back in. Over the years it may have accumulated dust in the connector area, thus causing part of the screen not to be updated. If that doesn’t work then unfortunately the screen may have died due to wear and tear.
