Inkplate 10 SD card write fails in web handler but works in setup()

Customer:

I have an Inkplate 10 (purple, latest version). SD card access works fine in setup() where I can write and save test files, but when I try to save an image from the webapp it fails. Why does SD access work in setup() but not in the web handler? Can you point me in the correct direction or provide sample code for saving to the SD card from the webapp?

Some things to check:

  1. Does the SD card init OK? You can check the return bool.

  2. You can init the SD card in setup and then write to it in the web handler - that might work.

  3. Which web server implementation are you using for ESP32? Not all of them work the same way; some work better than others.

  4. If you want, send us a boilerplate of your code so we can test it out here as well.

There should not be a conflict, because the server runs internally on ESP32 and the MicroSD is connected via SPI pins.
