Customer:
I recently bought an Inkplate 10 and the touch pads are not working. I’ve recorded a video to illustrate the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV8COkQouPc (the horizontal stripe in the video is just an LED strip reflecting, not a device issue).
The Inkplate is running the Inkplate_Touchpads example sketch from the Inkplate library. The panels seem to have no effect, while the program itself seems to react to spurious signals. The counter occasionally drops to -1, which suggests either both outer pads or all three are generating input signals on their own.
Two questions: Is this a known issue? And are the big numbers supposed to be on the front side of the pads? I’ve seen some photos with those numbers on the back.
Also, I’m having an issue with waveforms. Of the three provided in the software library, none does a good job rendering grayscale in order. Could you tell if there are other waveform definitions I could try?
