Inkplate 10 with 3700mAh LiPo battery returns 0.0V and won't power on

Customer:

I bought an Inkplate 10 and a 3700mAh LiPo battery. When plugged in, the display.readBattery() function returns 0.0V and I’m unable to power the device when unplugged, even after it’s been left to charge for a few days. Do I have to do any kind of calibration sequence or call a special function to make it work? Can you think of any reason why this battery shouldn’t be compatible, or how I can detect if it’s defective?

Soldered Support:

From the pictures of that battery, it appears to have the wrong polarity. Can you take a picture of the battery connector so I can verify the polarity?

Customer:

That was it! I reversed the polarity on the connectors and it’s working fine now.
