I’ve been running my Inkplate 10 successfully for a while on an external battery. This week it stopped refreshing the screen automatically based on my code. Even when plugged into my Mac to re-upload code, it doesn’t always connect via USB-C. The power light shows ON but nothing happens most of the time. The Wake button on the enclosure doesn’t do anything either.

Try uploading the basic hello-world example to see if the Inkplate 10 refreshes then: Inkplate-Arduino-library/examples/Inkplate10/Basic/Inkplate10_Hello_World/Inkplate10_Hello_World.ino at master · SolderedElectronics/Inkplate-Arduino-library · GitHub
If not, try re-connecting the flat cable on the back of the board. Unattach the latches at the ends of the connector, slide it out and place it back in, making sure it goes all the way. Be careful not to pinch or crease the cable.

I reseated the display cable, but that isn’t the issue. When using external power via the USB-C connector, it works fine. When I use an internal battery via the JSP 2.0mm connector, it doesn’t have enough power. The power LED is half on, then when I plug in external power the LED gets brighter. I’m using a 3.7V 3000mAH internal battery for testing.

That helps narrow it down and confirms the unit is functional. Regarding the battery, could you provide more details about which battery you’re using? It could be a compatibility issue. Make sure the battery is fully charged when testing, as this does seem like the battery can’t output enough power. Please share the battery details so I can check the compatibility.
