Customer:
I received an Inkplate 2 with case and the screen is misaligned by approximately 1mm. Two edges of the screen are touching the frame, while the other two have 2mm wide white bars. How can I correct this? I’m concerned about how fragile the screen is.

Soldered Support:
The ePaper is attached manually to the board, so this misalignment is expected within normal tolerance. I would not advise trying to unstick the ePaper as the tape used to stick them is quite strong and the screens are delicate due to how thin and light they are.
There is no practical physical modification that could fix this within the case itself. You could theoretically add some white lines, a few pixels wide, to the edges in software to make them look uniform to the other ones.
