Inkplate 2 screen takes 30 seconds to refresh with flickering

Customer:

I just got my Inkplate 2 and I’m testing it. Whenever the screen rerenders to display new text, it flickers for around 30 seconds before showing the new text. Is this a hardware issue or am I doing something wrong?

Soldered Support:

It takes some time to refresh, but 30 seconds is too long. Are you sure that it is 30 secs? Normal is around 20 seconds. It has to flicker to draw the image on the e-paper screen. If in the end you get the image you want to display, then everything is okay.
