Customer:
I have an Inkplate 5 board and plan to use it in a project with students. I need the hardware specifications. The documentation shows “Inkplate 5 hardware repository is coming soon”. Will the repository be available before January? Will they be available before January?

Soldered Support:
The hardware repository files are ready and have been provided. The boards should be available on the webshop approximately a month from now (rough estimate). In the meantime, Inkplate 5 units are in stock on Crowdsupply: Inkplate 5 | Crowd Supply
Detailed hardware specifications are available on that site. The bill of materials is also included in the hardware repository files for specific component information. Let me know if you have any specific questions about the hardware specs.

I had an issue with GPIO15 for using SPI2, but found the hint with JP3 in the Arduino example. I also want to know if there is a limitation with the battery capacity. I plan to use a 10000mAh Seamuing 3.7V Lipo.
Soldered Support:
Battery capacity is essentially unlimited - you can use any kind of battery as long as it is properly connected with a JST connector. 3.7V is correct for a lithium polymer battery.
