Is it possible to use this device as a writing e-notebook with a stylus, or will the device be too laggy to do something like that without issues?

Soldered Support:
Inkplate 5 does not support touchscreen or a stylus input of some sort. We have a product called Inkplate 6PLUS which has a touchscreen and a frontlight, but we haven’t seen users using it with a stylus to record actual handwriting. It’s been used more for buttons to touch in a user interface or even a virtual keyboard. The touchscreen on Inkplate 6PLUS is not precise enough to record handwriting.
