Inkplate 6/10 RTC wake not triggering after first day

Customer:

My Inkplate 6/10 should wake every night at 00:05 sync time and display data, but it does not. When I power the device it wakes only on the next day, nothing after that. I have already replaced the RTC battery and the device is connected to house current. I suspect I may have made a mistake on the RTC/time or UTC conversion handling in the functions syncTimeAndSetRTC or scheduleMidnightFiveAlarm. I am currently running tests with the Inkplate 6 code using my Inkplate 10. I have attached my stripped-down code with English comments and a simple diagram to help visualize the program flow.

Soldered Support:

The issue is with the library rather than your sketch. There is an error in the rtcSetEpoch function where the daylight saving flag was never initialized, causing garbage data from the stack to be used instead. This is why it was working unstably.
