Inkplate 6 bypass power latch to auto-enable on power

Customer:

I have an Inkplate 6 with enclosure. Is there any recommended way to bypass the power latch functionality, so the inkplate automatically turns on when power is connected? I found this part in the schematics. Should I just populate the R18 with a zero ohm resistor?

Soldered Support:

You’re correct, you can do it even with just solder and solder it together like a bridge, but a zero ohm resistor is a more elegant solution.
