Customer:

I broke my Inkplate 6 Display. Is it possible to remove the display and put a new one from a broken Kindle in?

Soldered Support:

Yes, you can remove the old display and place another but first, test another display. You can disconnect the original (broken) display and connect your other display and test if it works. If all works you then can remove the broken display from PCB and place your replacement.

For removing the broken display from PCB you can use alcohol because we use double-side tape to stick the display to PCB. Also, you can leave PCB in alcohol for a few hours to easily remove the display.
