My Kindle Paperwhite was damaged and the display stopped working. The display is model ED060XD4, which appears to match the spec of Inkplate 6 Motion. Would it be possible to send you the display assembly to test if it works? If it does, I’d like to purchase the remaining components of the Inkplate 6 Motion to give it a second life.

That’s a nice idea, but are you sure it’s the correct e-paper? Inkplate 6MOTION uses a different model: ED060XC3. See the hardware design documentation: https://docs.inkplate.com/Inkplate-6MOTION/hardware/design#e-paper-panel
Can you verify that these two models are equivalent?
Also, we don’t have a version of Inkplate 6 MOTION without e-Paper - these boards aren’t produced that way. If you’d like, I can make a special request to see if it would be possible to produce one.
