I received an Inkplate 6 and want to use it for a clock that updates the seconds every second using partial display. However, I’m seeing grey lines across the screen. The demo videos don’t show this issue, so I’m wondering if I have a faulty product.

Can you send a picture of your Inkplate 6 board showing the issue with partial update? Also, try updating your Inkplate library to version 5.5.1, because older versions have issues with partial updates.
You can also test other examples from the library to see if the panel works with them. If other examples work fine, then the problem is specific to partial updates, which is fixed in the latest library version.
