Inkplate 6 upload fails at default speed, e-paper glue detaches in shipping

Customer:

I had two issues with my Inkplate 6.

First, I had to reduce the upload speed to 460800 bit/s. Otherwise I get a fatal error while uploading.

Second, the glue holding the e-paper is not holding well. The e-paper was already loose when delivered.

Otherwise it’s a cool project.

Thank you for reporting these issues. The upload speed problem shouldn’t be happening at default settings - we will investigate this further and provide instructions on reducing the upload speed if needed.

Regarding the glue: we are aware of this issue from early manufacturing batches where the glue detaches during shipping. This has been fixed in newer units.
