Inkplate 6COLOR board not appearing in Arduino IDE after import

Customer:

After importing the board definition I cannot see the 6COLOR board. I only can see the Inkplate 6, 10 and 6 Plus. Each example says in the comment section on top that I should choose something like “Soldered Inkplate 6COLOR”. How can I see that board?

Secondly, are all examples working with the old board? How do I know which examples are for the old or the new version?

Thirdly, I cannot find an example that uses the touchpads/buttons. Can you point me to one?

Soldered Support:

Delete the old board definition link in the Arduino preferences. Install it again after deleting the old link and adding the new one. You should have “Soldered Inkplates” board definitions and “e-radionica Inkplates” board definitions available.

All examples should work on the old boards. There are only a few examples that you can run only on the new boards. Most examples are compatible with all boards.

Here is an example for Inkplate 6 that uses touchpads.
