Customer:
I’m interested in using the Inkplate 6PLUS as a room booking sign. How often would I need to charge it if the screen refreshes every 15 minutes using WiFi?

To estimate battery life, I need more information. What battery capacity are you planning to use? Also, what would be your on-time requirements, what kind of information would you be downloading, and how strong is your WiFi?
Customer:
My use case is similar to an example on your website. I’d use the largest battery that fits the enclosure. Updates should occur only during office hours (8am-8pm) and refresh every 15 minutes, downloading a few kilobytes of HTML content. Is it easy to display HTML on this device? The WiFi signal is strong where it will be used.

The battery that goes into Inkplate is 1200mAh. Based on calculations for your use case:
There are two scenarios:
- Deep sleep: uses around 25uA
- Connecting to WiFi and refreshing: uses around 750mA (worst case)
With 12 hours in deep sleep and refreshes every 15 minutes during office hours, each refresh takes around 10 seconds at 750mA before returning to deep sleep. Based on these calculations, a 1200mAh battery would last around 285 hours.
Regarding HTML display: it is difficult to display HTML directly, but if you can use JSON it will work very well.
