I’ve tried various troubleshooting approaches but nothing has worked. Would it be easier to discuss this by phone?

Super!

Soldered Support:
Which board did you select in the Arduino IDE - e-radionica.com Inkplate 6PLUS or Soldered Inkplate 6PLUS? This is likely the main issue. The newer Soldered Inkplate uses a different GPIO expander. If you selected the Soldered board, the Inkplate won’t work with it. You need to select the e-radionica.com Inkplate 6PLUS instead. Let us know if you still have problems and we’ll help find a solution.

I selected Soldered Inkplate 6PLUS - I have this purple board. I’m compiling for e-radionica now and I’ll report back.

It actually works now! On Linux I got some errors, but I tried it on Windows and the example works. I’ll get back to you if I have more questions. If it’s just an address issue, maybe a new version of the code could have an if statement to detect the address - if it finds 0xblabla you know it’s e-radionica. It’s a bit confusing, but the important thing is it works!

Stvarno radi!

Soldered Support:
Good to hear it works. If you have time, you could share what error appears on Linux so we can look into it (no pressure though, we’re here to help if needed). Your board has Soldered markings but uses the MCP GPIO expander. The main difference between the boards is the GPIO expander. If you have an MCP GPIO expander, use the e-radionica board in Arduino IDE. If it’s a PCAL GPIO expander, then it’s the Soldered Inkplate board. Get back to us if you have more questions or anything else isn’t working.
