I want to provide my Inkplate 7 with an external power supply. Where can I connect the voltage, and should I use 3.3 V or 5 V? I prefer not to always use the USB socket.

Soldered Support:

Connect 5V to the VIN pin and GND to the GND pin. The Inkplate code should start when you do this.

The connection is correct. Is the switch in the on position? Do you have the code that should show something on the screen uploaded to the board? Does the board work normally when connected via USB?
