Inkplate 9.7 USB keyboard and ESP32 C3 compatibility

Customer:

Can I connect a USB keyboard directly to the Inkplate 9.7 board, or do I need to use GPIO connections? Also, is it possible to order a modified version using an ESP32 C3 (RISC-V version)?

Soldered Support:

There are no USB connections available because all the pins are used, and the pins used for the e-paper panel must not be used. The USB on the Inkplate is a USB to UART converter only. The ESP32 C3 cannot be used because it is slower and has fewer pins - not enough to drive the e-paper panel.
