Customer:
I’m trying to get started with Inkplate but I’m having difficulties with the first set of commands. I successfully installed python3, but when trying to run the command python3 esptool.py --port /dev/cu.usbserial-1420 erase_flash I get the following error:
Pyserial is not installed for /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.11/bin/python3. Check the README for installation instructions.

I’m a frontend JS developer and this is my first Python project, so I’m finding the setup quite difficult. Also, is it normal that nothing happens when connecting the Inkplate device to my computer?
I’m on a Mac with M1 Pro running macOS Ventura.
