Customer:
I’m interested in integrating e-paper displays into products for assistive technology. Currently the system uses Windows tablets for host and display. We want to switch to NVIDIA Jetson as the host and use e-paper for the display.

Soldered Support:
Inkplate boards are ESP32-based, so the microcontroller driving the display is already on board. You can use the NVIDIA Jetson as the ‘brains’ and push a rendered image to Inkplate’s e-paper. Several approaches are possible depending on your application.
We’ve done projects before where we adapted an existing Inkplate design to a new PCB for specific purposes in large-scale deployments.
To give you better guidance: are you looking to add Inkplate support to your existing system with custom Inkplate firmware, do you need a specialized custom e-paper module, or something in between? How many devices are you planning to make?
Note that Inkplate models have different partial update speeds and limited FPS. Check the specs comparison page: Inkplate Features Comparison | Soldered Documentation
