Soldered Support:
Inkplate 6FLICK and Inkplate 4TEMPERA both have touch. The 4TEMPERA with the glass panel works best for touchscreen, though the version without the glass panel also has a touchscreen—the glass panel version has superior touch performance.

I’m building a device and software that requires writing on the screen with the user seeing what they’ve written displayed immediately. Does the display come with a programmable development board where I could create an application? Which screen would be better for this use case?
Soldered Support:
Inkplate has an onboard ESP32-WROVER-E that can be programmed with the Inkplate Arduino library: GitHub - SolderedElectronics/Inkplate-Arduino-library: Inkplate family Arduino library. The easiest way to add e-paper to your project. · GitHub
You write code in Arduino and upload it to the onboard ESP32 via the USB-C port. From that code, using the Arduino library, you drive the e-Paper display.
There is a very old MicroPython implementation for Inkplate on our GitHub, but it’s missing a lot of features and is quite slow. We really recommend writing in Arduino.
For touch, Inkplate 6FLICK is the better board, but the 4TEMPERA’s form factor is quite nice if you’re looking for something more portable.
