Is it possible to measure the battery level (or at least obtain a low level indicator) without additional hardware on the Inkplate2?

It is unfortunately not possible without additional hardware.
Do you have a recommended circuit which wouldn’t compromise the low sleep power consumption?

Please find attached a schematic of our proven battery voltage measurement circuit.
The V_BAT_MOS label connects to any GPIO on your controller. Driving this output HIGH enables the measurement circuit.
The V_BAT label is used to read the battery voltage and should be connected to an ADC pin on your microcontroller.
