Customer:
I recently received an Inkplate6. I can send serial commands and receive answers from the ESP32, but the screen never changes. Even ‘clearDisplay: #K(1)*’ sent via the serial monitor has no effect.

Are you sure you have a USB cable with data lines inside? Some cables only have power lines. Did you try uploading new code using Arduino IDE? If you haven’t, please try. If you have, please send a screenshot of your Tools menu and the upload result.
Customer:
I was using different USB cables, and data transfer should be possible since I was able to get responses for the UART commands “echo: #?" and "getDisplayMode: #J(?)”. I am uploading code via Arduino IDE and trying different examples. I attempted to upload the “Inkplate_Basic_BW” example - please find the screenshots attached.

Your board settings are correct and the code is uploaded to Inkplate. Please try turning off Inkplate, disconnecting the panel flat cable, cleaning it, and reconnecting it.

I executed the steps you described. Although I had already tried this once before with little hope, it is now working.
