Customer:
I received several LED Dice kits for a soldering workshop and have been unable to get them to work. The battery tested good at 3.1 volts.
Testing one of the force sensors shows the same resistance both while shaking and while holding still.
Shortinig across the pins of the shake sensor results in no change.
The LEDs have either 0.8 volts across them or 0 volts - neither is enough to light up the LED.
What troubleshooting steps can I try?

Soldered Support:
The kits have a pre-programmed ATtiny microcontroller on them doing the display logic. The voltages you’re measuring are unusual. My suspicion is either incorrect resistor values in the kit or that the microcontroller isn’t programmed or is malfunctioning.
Could you send a high quality picture of the assembled kit? Also, how many have you assembled from the package to test?

Files are attached. Looking closer, there are three empty pins between R2 and L2, but I don’t have a part to put in there. I’ve only assembled one so far.

Every single kit gets pre-programmed and it’s possible the one you assembled has some fault. Please assemble one more from your kit and let me know how it works out. If it still doesn’t work, I can send you replacements.
