Customer:
I’m using your Li-ion battery charger board with protection. I connected a microcontroller to it, but it only works when a USB cable is connected to the charger board. When it should be drawing power from the battery, there’s no voltage output.
My connections are: Gnd connected to Out- and Vcc connected to Out+. The battery is connected to Bat- and Bat+.
When measuring voltage, I accidentally touched Bat- and Out- together, and then the microcontroller worked.
My questions are: can the microcontroller be connected to Bat- instead of Out-, and do you have any examples of how to connect microcontrollers to the charger board?

Dok sam mjerio napon sličajno sam taknuo Bat- i Out-.

Can you share photos of how you connected everything or send a schematic showing how you connected the charger board with the microcontroller?

I apologize for the messy wiring—this is my first soldering project. I’ve attached photos of the connections and a schematic. The schematic is from: Tracker Schematics - SlimeVR Docs

To answer your earlier question: the microcontroller cannot be connected to BAT- instead of OUT- because you would be bypassing the battery protection. You can do it, but at your own risk.
Regarding your wiring schematic, try removing the two 1N5817 diodes that you connected on the power supply side, and change the switch so that instead of switching the ground, it switches the power supply—that is, the 5V. Try this and let us know if it works.
