Light sensor LM393 with LED strip and button battery wiring

Customer:

I want to build a single housing with an LED light, a light sensor, and its own power supply. How can I use the Light sensor with LM393 (Soldered Electronics) with an LED strip and a button battery (5V)? What wiring diagram should I use? Also, can a 1m LED strip be shortened, and how? For example, can it be cut into 16 cm segments?

S LM393 (E-RADIONICA MADE), sa Led trakom i gumb baterijom 5V?

?

Soldered Support:

Regarding the button battery: a 5V button cell is not ideal for powering an LED strip because its capacity is very small and it will drain quickly. For this application, rechargeable lithium batteries are recommended instead. Concerning the wiring diagram for the light sensor, I can draw it up once we clarify the power supply details. Standard LED strips can be shortened: every 10cm for strips with 30 LEDs per meter, or every 5cm for strips with 60 LEDs per meter.
