MFRC-522 and RDM6300 card reading frequency compatibility

Customer:

I purchased an MFRC-522 reader to read RFID cards from an entrance door system. However, I can only read cards and key fobs purchased from your store, while the cards from the door system are not detected at all. Could the door cards have some kind of protection, or is this a frequency issue? If it’s a frequency problem, would an RDM6300 reader be able to read those cards instead?

Soldered Support:

The issue is frequency-related. While 125kHz and 13.56MHz are the most commonly used standard frequencies, your cards may operate on a different frequency altogether. However, it is quite likely that they use one of these standard frequencies, and the RDM6300 should work with them.

hvala Vam na narudžbi kod nas!

Problem je u frekvenciji. Dok 125kHz i 13.56MHz jesu najčešće korišteni standardni frekvencija, možda su Vaše kartice baš na nekoj trećoj frekvenciji. No ipak, vrlo vjerojatno je ta druga frekv. te će RDM6300 raditi.
