NULA Development Board STLink connection fails in CubeProgrammer after firmware update

Customer:

I cannot connect the STLink device in CubeProgrammer. Some solutions suggested doing a firmware upgrade - then I encountered a message that ST Link is not in DFU mode. I resolved this by disconnecting and reconnecting it. After that, it was possible to start the upgrade, but after the upgrade “reaches the end”, I get an error. I tried doing the firmware upgrade via the older STM32 STLink Utility and succeeded. After that, I can connect with the STLink programmer. I disconnected, then tried to establish a connection in CubeProgrammer, but still the same error. What should I do?

@IvanFadiga

Probao sam Firmware upgrade napraviti preko zastarjelog STM32 STLink Utilitya(Screenshot-4 hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB) i uspio sam.

Disconnectao sam se, a zatim probao ostvariti konekciju u CubeProgrammeru, no i dalje isti error (Screenshot-7 hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB).

Što mi je činiti?

It can happen that the STM32 STlink Utility works and the firmware is updated, but then it does not work in STM32 CubeProgrammer. If it says it is not in DFU mode, you just need to disconnect and reconnect it to reset it. You should do the firmware upgrade with STM32 CubeProgrammer because Arduino IDE uses it as well. Have you tried using a different USB port? It seems to me that STLink lost connection with the computer. It could be a problem with the USB port being incorrect (having a poor connection) so STLink gets disconnected. After you do the firmware update from any program, try connecting the STM32 board to STLink and at least read the memory. If you can do that with STM32 CubeProgrammer, then it will work from Arduino IDE.
