Rain Sensor D0 output behavior and potentiometer trigger configuration

Customer:

Your site listed 50 simple rain sensors available. Is that information current? Do the sensors require code for function? I should be able to wire it without the Arduino logic board, right? Just supply 5V, it gets processed through the sensor and I get 5V out until humidity reaches the trigger point, then I lose the voltage. Should it function as a basic switch?

Soldered Support:

The functionality works as you described. D0 is the digital output which will be HIGH if a certain ‘wetness’ threshold is reached. You can set the threshold with the onboard potentiometer.
