I’m looking at Soldered products for small projects. What programming software do you recommend?

Soldered Support:
All Soldered products are Arduino-compatible. You should use Arduino, and we recommend version 1.8 (legacy) as it is more stable and doesn’t have some compilation bugs the newer versions have.
All software libraries for Soldered products are written in Arduino.
Once you have Arduino installed, we recommend VSCode with the Arduino extension. It works really well and offers all the comforts of a contemporary IDE with the best parts of Arduino.
